Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp strawberry syrup (cheong)
  • Oat milk
  • 1 tsp ceremonial-grade matcha powder
  • 2 oz warm water (just off the boil, cooled slightly)
  • Ice

Instructions

    Sift the matcha into a bowl to break up any clumps. Add the warm water and whisk briskly with a chasen (bamboo matcha whisk) in a side-to-side 'W' or 'M' motion until smooth and frothy.

    Spoon the strawberry syrup into the bottom of your glass.

    Fill the glass with ice.

    Pour oat milk over the ice until the glass is about three-quarters full.

    Slowly pour the whisked matcha over the top so it layers above the milk. Stir before sipping.
